As the cold weather set in, it became difficult to keep four little ones warm and fed. Their mother cat sought refuge in the entrance of an apartment building. However, the residents were not pleased with this new neighbor. The cat family was at risk of being thrown out onto the street. Fortunately, volunteers managed to rescue all five and bring them to a rescue center for homeless animals.
A caring mom
Kapa turned out to be a nursing mother. She became a foster mom to three little kittens who had entered the rescue center just a few days earlier. Kapa is a cat with a noble heart. She felt the genuine care from the shelter staff and transformed from a wild mother cat into a gentle and affectionate kitty. She fulfills her role as a mom not only for her own kittens – Nusha, Losyash, Krosh, and Kopatych – but also for three unfortunate little ones whose mother passed away. The shelter staff affectionately describe Kapa as "loving, cheerful, and purring." She has mastered the litter box and scratching post. She will fit into any family and can get along with other animals.
