This timid doggy was caught using a special trap set by the employees of the gas station where she lived. They then informed the animal shelter. Despite one of the workers feeding Julie, she remained wild: she wouldn’t let anyone approach her and wouldn't accept being held.

Now, Julie is still very cautious. She still won’t allow anyone to touch her, but she does eat from a hand — especially loves pâté! The only creature she trusts is her neighbor in the kennel. Wherever he goes, Julie follows closely behind.

Unfortunately, Julie is not yet ready to move to a family — she needs more time to get used to people.

How can you help Julie?

While Julie learns to trust, she needs support more than ever. Funding “Doggy Day” on Teddy Food will help provide her with:

  • Tasty food;
  • Work with a zoo psychologist to gradually socialize Julie;
  • Comfortable conditions at the animal shelter where she feels safe.

Even a small amount contributes to the future of this doggy, where, perhaps one day, she will have her own home.
