Many kittens from the city of Kaluga have been very fortunate. They were cared for by an elderly woman. She would find homeless kittens and pass them on to loving homes, while keeping some with her. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when the woman fell seriously ill and could no longer care for her furry friends. Volunteers stepped in, transferring the kittens to an animal shelter for the homeless. Among them was Habibi.
Habibi translates from Arabic as "beloved."
It's no wonder this little one has such a wonderful name. This affectionate, playful kitten loves everyone around him, both people and animals alike. He is friendly with the staff and does not pick fights with his fellow residents at the shelter. Still a bit shy, Habibi is all the more endearing. He has mastered the litter box and scratching post. He has been diagnosed with feline leukemia and is looking for a home with other cats who have leukemia or as a sole companion.
Does Habibi catch your eye?
Come meet him in person; the kitten will be happy to make new friends. While Habibi is searching for his forever home, you can treat this fluffy sweetheart to some tasty food or sponsor an entire kitty week, so he can feel your care right now.
