Volunteers were catching kittens in a garden community when suddenly, a limping little cat appeared before them. She came seeking affection and companionship. A woman who was feeding the furry ones shared the story of this kitty. Gera had been attacked by dogs, injuring her muscles and tendons. The little one was saved and received some care, but since then, she has been limping. Leaving her in the gardens would be a death sentence; she wouldn’t be able to run and hide in the face of danger. Moreover, she is far too trusting. Now she is in the shelter, and surgery is not an option as too much time has passed since the injury. Gera will continue to walk with a slight limp. She arrived from the gardens with her sister Aurora, and while they look quite alike, their personalities are different.
Simple-hearted goddess
Gera is a guardian of the home. A sweet and affectionate kitty, she is perfectly suited for this mission. Smart and sensitive, she will always be by her person's side. Gera loves to gaze out the window, probably waiting for her future owner. Very social, she gets along well with both people and other cats. So vulnerable that you just want to hug and protect her. Yet, she is playful and active despite her limp.
